Organisational Structure of SPS

Special Programme in Science (SPS) falls under the purview of the Science Dean’s Office, and with any programme, has an organisational structure.

The SPS staff are made up of a director (who is typically a senior academic) and resident instructors (teaching staff) who are also from different departments to help hammer home interdisciplinary science.

Mentorship is an important responsibility, and arguably the most rewarding learning experience of the programme. There are four categories of SPS Mentors (JuniorSeniorGraduateHead Mentors). Lead by the Head Mentors, the SPS mentor body is responsible for most of the organisation of the many activities (including those related to courses) of the programme.
