Jupyter Notebooks

There are many ways to issue commands to the Python interpreter. A Jupyter notebook is one very easy environment to write Python9 code.

Jupyter notebook files have the extension .ipynb10

Jupyter notebook allows you to combine Markdown and Python in the same document.

Jupyter notebook have two types of cells: Markdown cells or Code cells. Both type of cells are ‘run’ by pressing SHIFT + ENTER.
