2D World

Imagine a 2D world on the surface of a cylinder. Place a mass at one point and move away from it. How would you feel the gravitational potential? How does the field lines reach you? I think that field lines can curve around the surface of the cylinder to reach me and hence there are infinite field lines reaching me.

Exam Results

Exam results for the past semester is already out. I did ok I guess. No cause for complain except I didn't get a single A+. 2 modules underperformed and 2 others overperformed. So I guess that even things out. Currently still in first class. A great way to fly.

Hello SPS!

Hi all,
This is my first attempt at blogging in a non-confidential, politically correct and entirely pristine manner. Don't expect any juicy stuff here. I foresee most posts would be physics or at least academically related and perhaps occasionally on serious BUT non-confidential SPS stuff. In fact, I'm tempted to call this an academic blog, if there's such a thing. So that's it I guess. Nothing too intellectual in this first post unfortunately.
