About this Workshop!

Abstract

The Special Programme in Science (SPS, sps.nus.edu.sg) was established in 1996 to create a community that fostered interdisciplinary (STEM) thinking, learning and research. SPS has always maintained an exuberant enthusiasm for technology so much so that IT is woven into the core of its curriculum. Building on this spirit, this workshop aims to gather like-minded individuals from the STEM community to share and learn from each other. The workshop will be based on the (fun) hands-on activities that have been incorporated into the SPS courses. There will also be opportunities for everyone to shares their IT know-how. Ultimately, the aim is for everyone, veterans and novices alike, to acquire enough knowledge (and enthusiasm) to start using technology in the teaching and learning of STEM topics.
