Special Programme in Science (SPS)

Tokyo University's Global Science Programme Visit to SPS

On 15 February 2017, SPS hosted a 7-member delegation from the Tokyo University's Global Science Programme. The delegation was warmly received by SPS Director A/P Liou Yin-Cheong, SPS Assistant Director Mr Andreas Dewanto, and 4 SPS students, Amanda Ng, Neville Chen, Thor Wei Jie, and Christopher Martinus. After a brief overview of SPS Programme, a discussion ensued on topics such as SPS's Integrated Science Curriculum, students' exposure to overseas experience, and other academic programmes in NUS.

The 2-hour visit was concluded with a tour around SPS facilities. The delegate was shown to SPS main hall where SPS students are using for studying, playing and resting, SPS library and computer cluster, and SPS wet-lab. The latter, in particular, drew the envy from the Tokyo University's students.
