Special Programme in Science (SPS)

Current Students

The Global Science Programme (or GSP) provides a framework to all science students for an integrated undergraduate-cum-postgraduate study in Faculty of Science's partner Universities (such as Imperial College London, King's College London, Ecole Polytechnique and Australian National University) or locally (with, for instance, the NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering). Thus, to be in GSP, first and foremost, you should have the intention to postgraduate study upon completing your undergraduate. This programme also aims to attract the top 5% of the cohort. It's definitely not for the faint-hearted.

Although strictly speaking you do not need to be in SPS to join the programme (non SPS students may apply directly in their second year, based on their academic performance), joining SPS will definitely give you and advantage over your non-SPS peers. That is because SPS will expose your to the multidisciplinary aspect of science and research excellence right on the first day of your joining the programme. As a matter of fact, SPS does provide an entry to GSP as shown below:
