Organisational Structure of SPS

SPS falls under the purview of the Science Dean’s Office. The faculty members attached to SPS are made up of a Director (who is typically a senior academic) and several resident instructors (who are from the different departments). However, the most significant feature of SPS is the mentorship role adopted by the senior students of the programme. Mentorship is an important responsibility, and arguably the most rewarding learning experience of the programme. There are four categories of SPS Mentors (Junior, Senior, Graduate, Head Mentors). Lead by the Head Mentors, the SPS mentor body is responsible for most of the organisation of the many activities (including those related to modules) of the programme.
